Methow Valley Regulations?
« on: September 06, 2010, 11:18:46 PM »
Hey all, Been doing plenty of scouting in the methow valley and was looking thru the regs...As we all know they can be difficult to interpret...Was just wondering the rules behind GMU 2012? It gives a description in the rule book but I guess my question would be, do the general early archery rules apply to this area or is 2012 a special hunt? private land permits? Any thought would be great... The area I was planning a week hunt in was surrounding Winthrop in the Methow Valley State wildlife lands. GMU's 218 and 224...But wondering how 2012 overlaps these areas.

Thanks All!

There is no such thing as GMU 2012, GMU's are only 3 numbers, not 4.

Thanks spin05...I called the WDFW today for that area and they told me the same thing..."If the surrounding GMU's are open then that area is open"...Good to get an answer to this...Kinda confusing
