LC Sportsmaps
« on: July 05, 2010, 11:55:01 AM »
Anybody use these maps?
I'm wondering if they're worth $15 or so.
Thanks in advance.

I already have Topo and USGS, I guess I just like maps. The mroe the better.

I bought them for several places and I think they are about the best.

I have a couple, they are just a DNR map with the GMU boundary drawn in. If the GMU covers two different quads then they splice the two quad maps together so the whole GMU is shown on one map.

I've have several of them. I even went to the guys house in Maple Valley to pick some up. I like to use them for a quick reference for GMU boundaries. the only downside is the map cannot get wet because the ink will run, but other that that I like them  :)

I used to use them.  I got the Topo program from National Geographic and downloaded the GMU boundaries for that.  I like it better because I can print off a map of the area I'm at without having to carry a bunch of maps if I'm in an area close to the boundary.
