Anyone have Leupold custom scope dials
« on: September 01, 2010, 11:01:54 AM »
Leupold has a promotion going on that if you buy a VX-3 scope you get free dials. just wondering if anyone has used the dial system and how did it work for you? are the dials pretty accurate at distances from 300-600 yards? I guess you send Leupold the ballistics info for your bullets and they custom build the dials. I am done with the holding over the animal at distances.

My scope has the dials and they work good.I've tested them out to about 450 yards shooting clay pigeons with the 308.Very easy to use.Range find your target, turn the knob to that number and your ready to shoot.

My best friend has them on the Leupold that he has on top of his 30-378 WBY. They work great.

I have them on my 6.5-20 Mark 4 and so far I am pleased with them although I haven't tested past 300 yds yet.  The nice thing is you can order up different knobs for different loads and installing them is simple.

Not yet.   :bash:  Soon.   I have the VX-3 CDS.
I've hunted almost everyday of my life, the rest have been wasted.
