Tacoma's are awesome I have a 96. It is realiable and tough. I wouldn't mind owning a bigger truck like a chevy with a duramax diesel in it though.

Nice looking chevy......how's the frontend clunk and the squeeking doors.  Has the ABS light came on yet??

geez miles...you must have got  a bucket...mine's at 96k miles and none of that yet. if he gets any clunking out of that one, it's sure to be from that lift kit.
good looking truck, mossback...2002?

hmm...i'm pretty good at this stuff.

miles...i worked at the dealer from 97-03. i know all about the intermediate shaft clunk in the steering column. wierd that whatever dealer you were taking it to never replaced the shaft. mine oddly does not have that clunk. i know it should, but it doesn't. no abs light yet either. it has been a few year ssince i was at a gm dealer, but i don't remember the abs issue as being common. the 2006 you own has a completely different steering column than the other ones, so i gotta wonder what the deal is with that. are you sure it's the same clunk?
p.s. i have owned nothing but chevy trucks since 1995.
why not take the truck to the dealer while it's still under warranty and get it fixed?

my friend has a 99 chevy and all of the options have rattled off of it. I makes so many noises now you cant tell what is going on. And i think every light on the dash is showing some kind of problem. I though maybe it was just his truck but maybe not.
