Excited as all get out

I ordered the new D3100 today, can't wait to get it out in the field. Should be here in 2-3 weeks.

I would do cartwheels with you but I don't know what a D3100 is and my doctor said not to do cartwheels.

Other than that, I'm as happy as can be  :IBCOOL: :chuckle:

Really not hard to find on Google. It's Nikon's newest DSLR, 14.2mp.

Thank's Bone. I'm most excited about the increased mp count, I'll be going from 6.0, to 14.2. I've been doing more and more enlarged prints so I'm eager to see how they turn out comparatively.

I like Canon's for the fact that glass is usually cheaper, but I shoot a Nikon because I can use older lenses without any problem.  Like my Nikon for sure.

Nikon D40.  Looking to bump up to the D90 in November.  No real reason besides...well...I guess I don't need a reason!!!

D90's a great outfit, I chose the D3100 over the D90 because I wanted to stick with the the same body style as the D40. The D90 is a bit heavier and ergo's are different as far as configuration.

Cool, Dman, looking forward to some pics.

One of my wife's friends has a nice lens on a Canon and took some pictures at the Eburg rodeo this year that were just great.  Now my wife is ENCOURAGING me to go buy a nice new lens.   :IBCOOL:
