Hunting white river unit

Has any one hunted in the white river unit in the past few years i got drawn for the bull hunt with rifle and was wondering if anyone knew where a good spot to go was :dunno:

Which hunt dates? Did you get drawn for the one in september or november?

Your best bet is going to be the White River Tree Farm, most of the unit is either Hancock land or USFS land. However Hancock does charge a fee to access their lands and that permit sold out around March. However I have heard that they will issue a temporary permit for the season so you'll need to contact them asap. Just be forwarned that this unit is basically the killing grounds for the Muckleshoot Tribe. The Muckleshoot's "hunting season" opens 9/15, deer opened 8/1. And they were probably the reason this unit went from one of the best general season units in the state to permit only a couple years ago.... :bash:

are you kidding! the dates are not the best but there are some masive bulls in that unit, and easy to get to. i put in every year for that hunt, but archery. i have pics of 2 6x6 bulls easly over 300 inches. there is alot more to hunt then the tree farm. e-mail me if you want to know more.
hunt for the the challange of the hunt and the meat,  and it's always a trophey....poachers suck.

thats a great tag...you should get a really nice bull.  There is alot of really great open areas to hunt
