Three archery bulls down with Rugged Class!
« on: September 18, 2010, 08:05:30 PM »
Well, we got a good 5x6 on the second day of the season in Peaches with a sweet 23 yard shot.  We tracked him about 65 yards and found him piled up.  On the 11th day of the season after a lot of blown stocks, busted setups and lots of bull called in and passed on, we finally got a good bull to play and I tagged him with a 30 yard shot.  We tracked him about 250 yards and found him piled up.  He's a nice main frame 6 but with two cheaters on one side and some character making him a 6x8.  Great season so far, one of our guides also whacked a giant, picture perfect 350 6x6 bull, but I'm still waiting for the pics.  I'll post 'em when I get 'em.  Still got 4 more elk tags and a white tail rut tag to go, so hopefully more pics to come.  Enjoy!

Nice going Ty.    I'm glad you didn't need me as I can't seem to get this deer killed.  Was it "the" 350 or a different one.

thanks Doug, no it wasn't "the" 350, never did see him, but I had a chance at another huge bull, a 7x7 around 340ish, just needed another half second to get on the trigger, but not to be.  Kinda up in the same area, just a ridge south of where "the" 350 was.  Good luck getting that buck killed.
