My boy 13, would love it (his old mad doesn't watefowl hunt), but he can't hold a gun right now because of a cast on his arm. I tried to get the orthopedic doc to form fit it to the forend  of his rem 1100, but she didn't understand. At least he could be grouse hunting.

not sure what your asking about on the shotgun, if your talking about the loaner gun we have a few choice's between a couple 20 ga. and a few 12 ga pump's. i think not 100% on what all my buddy has and it is mostly his stuff ( 3 daughters that don't want to hunt this year)

That's what I was asking.  I'm guessing my 8 year old could handle the 20ga.  He's 100lbs

Thats pretty darn good of you!
If you were on this side, I would take you up on that. My youngest daughter keeps talking about duck hunting and I'm not a waterfowler at all.

My son would love that, unfortunately he is in Arizona. He is always bugging me about going duck hunting, but I have never done it myself, so I wouldn't know where to start. He will be up here for the opening of Chukar and deer season, so I hope that I can make it happen for him.
