It plumb amazes me that I bag coyotes back-to-back weekends where both were taken at under 100 yds and neither had come to a call. I've been just sitting in the right place at the right time, I guess. (I'm kinda sensative about my 'calling skills' just now.)

Nice work Ivarhusa.  At least someone from the Tri-Cities is putting some fur down.  I've only been out once.  Saw one out of 3 stands, but it was trotting away at 250 yards, I didn't feel comfortable shooting at a moving coyote that far away.

the only dog I saw this afternoon.  Was running away at 400 yards, must have been one of the ones that stickslinger and antlerking "trained" lately.   :chuckle:
I've hunted almost everyday of my life, the rest have been wasted.

Well at least that's one more than I saw today, thought with the new snow I would be knocking a few down. The wind was blowing some 12 inch drifts so I'll blame it on that.

Yea, Sure would like to but I got the Entiat Archery buck permit. Let me know what weekends you're free after this weekend and we'll give it a go. That would be fun for sure.
