3 more for SBA.

Made it out by myself today, first call had one come to within 60 yds not able to get a shot.  Shot the first one while walking in for the second call, should've had the pair but missed the male at 300 yds. >:(  Shot the other two males on the last two calls of the day, one 190 yds the other at 200 yds. About time we had some nice weather. :IBCOOL:

Nice going Bullelk

I had to do the Spokane Costco, Home Depot and Lowes run today to get more stuff for the projects around here. Hopefully I'll get a chance to go out for a morning stand before I need to get back home and get busy here. Dogs were sure singin' around here tonight, should have got out the night vision but worked on finishing up the new DPMS LR308. Maybe tomorrow I'll let the air out of one with it, those 110 gr V-Max bullets do a real number on dogs.
Checkin' wind and makin' smoke.

I think there should be a west side and an east side contest. Seems to be easier to take a dog on the east side of the mountains. The west side dogs don't seem to respond the same as the sage dogs. I would be interested to know how many are from the west side that have been entered already . What do you all think?

That's why if you look at the scoring for the contest. You will see every west side yote is=3 east side yotes. There is a curve to help the west side guys. The contest is just fine is my :twocents: Other then i have not been whacking the yotes :chuckle:

Most of us Eastsiders feel the same way--about the WHOLE STATE!
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

There are lots of coyotes on the west side but you really have to hunt them hard. I hunted the west side for 27 years and always saw scat on the dirt roads over there. Now I cannot say there are more over here, but they are easier to see which makes all the difference. Plus you have a ton of fox we don't and there is a huge population of Bobcat over there which all count toward your points. You just have to get after them.
