The state don't want to stop this or maybe they can't.  But can't they lock these areas down as mentioned?  Obviously the slobs that do this won't go in there and the ones that do are probably going to be the honest ones that want to do it right.  Wouldn't be stopping the hunting so to speak.  Just limiting access.  Every group has a bad egg:(

The state can't do anything, it's a treaty right. I think you bring up a good point, nobody wants to see this and everyone always complains about how much tribal members road hunt and how they think roads should be shut. But then when landowners close gates people start bitching about areas they've hunted for 40 years is now behind a locked gate.
