Not sure just trying to put 2 and 2 together.... the way you replied in the tribal thread made me wonder ... especially about the wetside tribes working with the state regarding counting elk and management.  If you bowhunt and were in the Taneum for early elk ....

I confess I have spent a lot of time in the Nooksack.  Been working up there since 1999.  I have enjoyed seeing the success of the hunters in the Nooksack in the past few years. It is interesting to follow how many of the bulls that we collar get harvested each year.  There are some great bulls up there.

my guess is in the freezer of the west side gov tag holder! what is the deal with the small body i noticed it in the gov tag pic as well

I would have to agree, I though the same thing about the body size.  He must be using performance enhancers...?

Picture was taken in late winter/early spring.  Caution - Actual elk looks larger through scope or binoculars.  ;)

i was going to say Nooksack too just by how similiar it does look to the gov tag bull.  I also thought it might be a tribal collar.   I hope he lives to spread those genes.
