Anyone know which area holds a better number of elk, Mt. Adams Wilderness, Indian Heaven Wilderness, Trapper Creek Wilderness, or Goat Rocks Wilderness.   I'm trying to plan a trip to come out for a week and scout out an area but im trying to narrow it down a little more.   I have a couple maps of each area and they all look good for getting away from the crowd but if anyone could point the finger in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

I'd focus on the goat Rocks or Mt. Adams areas myself.
