Yep monster   185+

When I first saw the picture on my camera I thought he was 180's also. However, after getting the pictures home and closer inspection I think he will likely gross in the low 170's. The split G-2's wont hurt his net if he is scored as a non-typical but they would definitely knock down the net typical score. Hopefully I can get him on the ground and I will let you guys know the measurements. I will certainly be happy with him no matter what he scores. He is definitely bigger than my biggest buck to date (148 gross). I love the character of the antlers.

It is amazing these bucks can grow so big on public land, no agriculture and over 3K+ feet.

Not yet (unless I picked up something this past week) but I am working on it. As of last weekend I am running five cameras within 400-800 yards of this set. At this point I am not too concerned since it is mid-Oct. Whitetails are often more nocturnal this time of October than any other time (October Lull). If I don't have any day photos by late Oct/early Nov I will be a little concerned. I am prepared for the possibility that I may never catch him moving in daylight. Some bucks are almost impossible to kill. Hopefully this buck isn't one of them.
