Mature buck...daylight movement...7 Nov... Heading up for a hunt tomorrow. Going after the split G-2 buck.

I like this one better.

WIDE N HEAVEY and looks like it has split browtines...

Need a side view to get an idea of score, but don't really care at this point.  He is HUGE.

Yes he is. He is in a completely different area than the split g-2. I have a friend that is hunting him during the modern firearm. This is his first hunting season and if he can connect it will be his first deer ever. We scouted the area back in early fall and got him set up. Things are looking promising. I really hope this buck makes a mistake so he can get a shot.

There is a side view of him on the previous page. It is hard to tell it's him because you can't see his width but it is at the post in a group with three pics and you can recognize the mass. He is easier to identify in the other two pics because you can see his width and kicker point. This buck has a bum left eye that doesn't shine in a flash.

I think this is a good example of how a night photo can make them look smaller than they really are...

He is a PIG.

Hope your buddy nails him.

Not eating on one of these yet but we did just eat braised venison from my wife's buck that she took earlier this season: http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,56339.0.html

The velvet was pretty trashed after the shot but she is getting it flocked with the fake stuff. Hopefully it turns out nice.

I definitely wouldn't pass on him. This is a buck that is coming into a set that my friend and I put out for his first hunting season ever. He is hunting modern firearm. Unfortunately he wasn't able to make it out for a hunt the day he showed up.
