thanks carpsniper. Yeah it was a great time other than the the truck blowing a motor and having it still sitting up there.  We were fortunate enough to find some birds, some places to hunt and lots of generous people along the way.  Canadians are genuinely some of the nicest people we have ever met.  If you have a chance to go, do it.  This was all DIY and it was our first time.  It can be a lot of work, a lot of long days between hunting, scouting, chasing down leads and finding landowners but it is very achievable and really pretty affordable (without truck problems!). Probably the greatest experience we have ever had as waterfowlers
