How I bed coilspring traps

Here is how I bed my coilspring traps, I do the double long springs the same way.This was a remake after catching a coyote.

Looks nice, I haven't trapped in 30 yrs. I always enjoyed it. Wish we could steel trap here in WA. Seeing your post makes me want to do it again.

I too am missing it! I started trapping with my grandfather long before I got the hunting bug.

is something under the pan  needed if ya cover the pan,with mesh or waxpaper
