:yeah:
"The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."
- Thomas Jefferson (quoting 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria)

I was just thinking the same thing!! been up since 2 this morning... although the raccoon that "accidentally" fell off my fence had me wide awake so I went to work at 3

So does anyone else feel that going to deer camp gives you same feeling as Christmas morning when you were a kid?........I havent even been sleeping well due to the excitment over deer camp this year............. :chuckle:

I know that I will be sore as a beat goat by the time I hike the 8 miles in, but it will be nice to not see anyone and likely shoot another mature buck.  more like homecoming football to me.
