MarshRat w/ Electric Motor
« on: October 02, 2010, 07:41:40 PM »
Anyone use an electric motor on their marshrat? I have a nice little 30# Minn Kota that I'd like to use, but need to sort out building a motor mount.

Thanks!

My buddy built one for his motor.  I am not going to as I will be using it in salt.  Unless you have the saltwater series the motors crap out quick in salt.

it it kind of hard to see but i have a pressure treated 2x6 mounted on the back of my boat.  It works great for a little trolling motor!
