I know the area. Stopped by one access this morning and big orange sign by Port Blakely says the road is closed to motorized vehicles for forest harvesting. I know the area was closed when I checked this last summer, and the signs up now appear fresh. I know last year they were really getting into high gear logging in the area during hunting season. You may want to call them and ask. Dave
