What GMU? Looks pretty familiar country if its in the area I think its at bucks like that are pretty scarce. Congrats to your buddy.

I won't say where it was killed.  And i'm sure jstamp won't either.  But you can guess.

It was more of a rhetorical question than actually wanting to know.  Just saying that is a nice buck.  If its the general area I think it is then that is an incredible buck.  In any case congratulations to you guys.

he's roughly 170. and you're right, i won't say what gmu he was killed in. We can just leave it at he was killed in eastern wa. I will post the story later when i get some time. I just got home.

Don't blame you on not posting where...been there and done that; generally ends badly.  Damn nice buck, though!!!

this buck was truly a team effort. I spotted this buck just shy of mile away chasing about 5 does. My hunting partners and i watched him for about a half hour or 45 minutes till he bedded down. then, the hunt/stalk started. ended up stalking up to about 250 yards of him in his bed, but couldn't see him. he stood up and started bouncing down the hill. The first shot didn't find it's mark, but the second one did, and well you can see the results. if it wasn't for the help of sidedrifter, i probably never would have gotten this buck.
