Tri-cities bird numbers
« on: October 18, 2010, 04:09:45 PM »
Did anyone hunt around Burbank this weekend? If so, what kind of bird numbers did you see? We hunted near Othello and there were more birds then I expected to see. I am thinking about heading down there to one of the few spots I hunt but am not sure quite yet. If anyone is interested, maybe we can team up for the hunt as I am not sure if my buddy will be back from deer hunting before this weekend.  :brew:

We had a mixed bag this weekend too and I am fine with that. I just hope this year that we have a steady flow of birds all year. While rushes of birds can be fun if you are out there during them, they can make the other days REALLY slow.

Hunted the west-side for the first time in about 12 years. Two of us got our limit in about 20minutes and went back inside and had pancakes, eggs and bacon. What a great day it was!

That is pretty crazy. Never had a limit that fast before. It would be cool to do once in a while but I like having to work at getting the birds a bit too.  ;)

yeah, day went a little too fast. I was on a friends' family property close to the ball field on Redmond / Fall City Road. Really nice looking ducks- I wasn't expecting it honestly. Thought we'd shoot one or two then give up and go in for hot coffee.
