Team FISH 4 FUN Scores again
« on: October 19, 2010, 09:04:59 AM »
OK, we are done and home and 2010 deer season is nothing more than pictures and good times.

Saturday, opening day we saw around 50 deer by 3:00 in the afternoon NO shooters though. At 3:30 we headed for the fields that we each wanted to sit on until dark. At 5:00pm I shot a nice 3 X 3 out of a herd of about 18 deer that had several bucks in it. This is the one the gave me the only shot that was clear of the does. At the same time Craig was watching another wheat field 3 miles away. At 6:15pm he had a nice buck slip away without getting a shot. Knowing the deer wasn't spooked we went back on Sunday afternoon at 4:00pm and got within 200 yards of where the big deer was the evening before. Within 5 minutes of the evening before the 4 X 4 showed again. Craig, made a 200 yard 1 shot kill on his first ever Mule Deer. 2 days of hunting we saw between 80 and 100 deer, all different animals as we hunted different places both days.

Brandon, We got done so fast and headed for home that I didn't get a chance to come by the shop and see some of your work. I will bring you some waterfoul this Winter though, plan on a goose for sure. We are hunting with Ruckous Outfitters for geese in December, so I will have you something then.
