Masher 3pt (make that 2 mashers) Pics Added
« on: October 19, 2010, 09:57:31 AM »
Hey guys, when I asked my cousin if I could post a picture of his opening day buck, his response was "yeah, but just make sure it's a good pic!"  Well, it's pretty hard to find a better pic.  This guy was running with 5 other little bucks on Saturday morning.  He spent a lot of time trying to put a third point on a few of the dink 2x2s before this guy stepped out of the timber.  He let the air out of him at 250 yds.

Outside spread at 28 inches.  Um, nice buck dude.
----------------
My dad ran in to this guy the day before the season ended and dropped the hammer at 200 yds.  Outside spread was 24 inches with 6 inch bases.  This was easily the biggest bodied deer that I've ever seen (or dragged back to camp).  The first buck tipped the scales at the butcher at 175lbs hanging and everyone agreed that my dad's buck was bigger!!!!

Cool buck. Seems like a lot of nice ones hitting the dirt this year. I go to Central with one of his relatives (brother maybe or cousin) I saw the pic on his I-phone yestrerday, it looks much better on here though.
