Coues Bachelor Herd in Arizona

I took photos on Mt Lemmon this evening. Yes, this is Arizona.

Remember things start and finish much later down here--these guys ain't even done growing yet  ;)

they are so small. i got one when i was station in arizona, it messured out to a whooping 46" and it was apparently a good one. i will have to find pics

Are you living there?  I am from Tucson.  My dad shot a 105"  a few years back.  My biggest is 98".  I miss hunting those dogs with horns.  i am gonna start putting in again next year.

I'll be in the area for a little bit  8)

Its going to be an amazing year for Coues Deer down here  :drool: Those of you coming down to escape the dreary PNW winter and enjoy a warm, archery rut hunt are in for a real treat.    :IBCOOL:

I've been seeing more bucks than does in some areas. And I don't mean bachelor herds--some are already paired up with does.

This shed maybe scores 95-97?
