I went to wall-mart and picked one up. They were only $50. I set it up in the back yard and it works great. I will be back down there to pick up a few more. There cheap and work good at night also. TASCO brand 3mp

Just went and bought one, wife will be taking it back tomorrow while I'm at work. Never had one before so I figured I try it and if stolen would only be out fifty bucks. I set it up and tested it out. I could walk back in forth, fast/slow, approach from front, back away and the thing rarely took a photo. Now I don't have any experience with trail cams but it seems like a POS. Goes to show you get what you payed for it.

I got one, its not great. I don't have a problem with it not taking pics, sometimes its a little too sensitive. I.e. (branches, sun, moon, birds) so I get too many pics. But for $50 thats what i expected. I had it on public land for 3 months, didn't really care if it were stolen. But it wasn't.

well I let it soak over in randal but stupid me
forgot to turn the dang thing on or I hit the power button when I closed it up. Sat over there for a week. lots of fresh tracks on the trail I had it on. Here are a couple deer from the front porch in stead.

Have the same issues with the $50 W-mart camera.
Think its tainted from being in their store. So far have gone through quite a few apples to capture one scratchy picture of a deer's butt.
Aggravating for the kids. They are waiting for me to spring for a high dollar trail cam that actually works. Trigger is so slow the deer get bored and leave before it snaps a picture.
