Solo Trip 4 x 4 Muley!!!
« on: October 25, 2010, 07:24:45 AM »
I was supposed to head out this year with three other guys to a new area around Omak.  For numerous reason, I found myself solo two days before opening weekend.  :yike: I decided to head out solo, because I had already scouted the area two weeks earlier.  I hiked in to my spot two miles back and waited for the best time of the year to begin!  After two hours of glassing and only turning up trees and bushes.  I stood up to stretch my legs and take a piss.  Over a small cliff, I noticed this buck trying to sneek his way back up the mountain.  Finally after a three year drought, I'm back.  :IBCOOL: The pack out was painfull, but well worth it!!!

I meet some cool guys (Chuck, John and Allen) along the way.  Hope to see you guys next year.

Good colors on that buck, congrats!
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

Nice work bud!!

Very nice buck! Congrats to you on your buck, and congrats to you for not letting your partners screw up your hunt, and following through. It pays off!
