I worked Outside waterville on a wheat farm for 4 summers, and have hunted the breaks a fare bit...I would be surprised to find any elk there...on a different note... am I stupid :P what is so funny about the sign? :P
put your mind alittle closer to the gutter....the saying is, and delete this if need be but, "two in the pink, one in the stink"..."the shocker" now look at their hands in the pic. ;)  :chuckle:

And the advanced version
"two in the pink, one in the stink, and one working the speedbag"

I drove over to Badger today to look at the land I was thinking about buying but I don't know about it. Ive only lived in WA for a few years (Ballard) to be exact and have done some hunting on the peninsula with a friend of mine that lives over in Port Angeles. Last year we hunted the Sol Duc unit together I saw a herd of 20 cows or so but that was it. I Still don't know my way around the state very much but the land around Orando to Cashmere is pretty dry it actually reminded me of parts of the Bad Lands in South Dakota. Around Waterville the farms are pretty irrigated so its got some green. Badger Mountain was pretty nice I could see it being good for Grouse and Deer but not enough water around to sustain Elk I suppose. I was interested in the Land because the price is right and I talked him down even more for some acres off of Redfield Road (for those who know the area) He has over 60 acres going now for good prices I'm not going to drop prices on here for all to see but if any locals want to pm me I can give you his name and info and the price I got him talked down to. All I will say is that I got him down below $1000 acre (very cheap!) Its nice land but I think I would rather pick up a few acres in the peninsula.

There are NO elk on badger or in waterville. I dont know who told you there were elk there, but they are HIGH! 16 years ago a moose got in there, but it was darted and flow out by the state. I have hunted every inch or 266, I know what Im talking about.
Hunting is tough, its even tougher when your stupid!!

No Elk anywhere around that side of the river, and I have covered that country for years.  Some good hunting for deer and upland birds.  The goose and duck hunting can be fandamtastic in the right spots.

Closest elk I can think of around that country would be up the pass and a couple tiny herds over in the Methow.  Both on the wrong side of the mighty columbia.
