Hunted Unit 340 and 336 this weekend and all we saw was hunters. Where are all the elk?
Did anyone do any good?

That IS a good question. I often wonder that myself. And, currently I do not know the answer. If I did, I would know where to hunt next weekend. My best guess is the elk are in the woods.

I guess I got my answer. This was read 88 times on a hunting day in just 15 minutes!

They head to "Cabo" for hunting season.

Thw WDFW pass out pamphlets and they head south

Sorry but I dont see how its possible to hunt those units and not see ANY elk.

My daughter and I had 7 elk come in at last night tonight to within about 20 yards. Unfortunately we needed a buck not a bull.

Funny because I saw 2 spikes and around 10 cows today and I am not firearms elk hunting. Was bird hunting in 342. Waiting for the late archery season

The elk are where you actually have to get OUT of the truck, and HIKE back into the woods.

I have hiked and stood over draws looking all day for two days now. I have seen nothing. This is strange, as I have hardly gone a day for many, many years with out seeing any. I usually have a hard time keeping count! not this year, 0! It is still a ton of fun!
