Pack forest is in 654 on the west side of the unit off of hwy 7 just after the second cutoff to eatonville. its gated lots of deer the last time I went up there.
I would head south from Elbe and hunt the numerous hike-in roads off of the Morton highway. Stormking GMU 505 on the left, GMU 667 on the right heading south.
You guys rock. I'm still learning areas and I don't want to head out on a four hour drive only to have to go to a different spot because it's private or logging land. Bing/Google maps don't have it and GoHunt wasn't being particularly helpful because it's technically huntable land. So, on to my next question. I live in Kent, does it make sense to just get up at 3 am and head out or should I be camping down there? I'll pour through these maps and look for the locations you all mentioned. I appreciate it.
off the Morton Elbe Road is Pleasent Valley Road, goes in for miles.Carl
