I am not trying to be a "tough guy" and no I don't spend a lot of time posting on here because I don't have much time to get on here and I apologize if I offended anyone, but I do not take kindly to people who say that I am full of $%^& when they obviously know nothing and, if they researched the facts, would know that I was simply relaying said facts.  I didn't come here to start a flame war, and if you guys are fine gunning for hens kudos to you all I am saying is don't be the ones bit%^&$ when there are poor bird numbers. If I offended you I'm sorry but the truth hurts sometimes. Gotta go have dinner with the wife and kid now, later.

the same goes for you, you dont know anything about me, or the other people you started attacking. If you did know me, you would know that I am one of the biggest "ethical" hunters out there. and do everything I can to keep that up. lets leave it at that, and everyone, lets try to keep this kind of thread to a minimum this year. it ruins the point of this awesome site.

A few here a few there.  The population needs to be ballanced out a little.  Many clubs push the all drake limit, so there is room for you to shoot a few hens.  You will have to shoot more drakes on your next outting to make some feel a little better.   :chuckle:  I try to take the drakes, but sometime the hens just get in the way.   :dunno:

hens taste better, but drakes have more meat on their legs and wings.  :twocents:

DD12 keep up the good work! There are plenty of people out their only shooting Drakes, the population will be fine. A lot of my hunting buddies only shoot Drakes and make fun of me because I shoot hens. It only proves to me that they are more worried about what other people think than what is truly ethical. The state provides us with our guide lines, the rest is up to each one of us individually to choose what makes us happy and prosperous! As for me, if the birds are working well, drakes only. If its going to be a rough day, if it flies.... it dies!
