Intro to Long Range Shooting Clinic Feeler
« on: November 12, 2010, 10:01:57 AM »
We are considering doing an Introduction to Long Range Shooting clinic this spring after hunting season and kinda wanted to see if there was any interest here.  The basics would be covered:

Equipment
Ballistics
Range/Field shooting
Ammo and bullet choice
Wind conditions
Calculating drop and windage based on BC's and velocities

We are going to try and do this at no charge.  Mainly just to get guys out shooting more.  You would need a rifle capable of 1moa or less at 100yds, and a repeatable scope with at least an elevation turret or ballistic reticle.  Probably 50-75rnds of ammo as well.  We have been asked alot to do this and have just kinda been taking guys out on 1 on 1 trips, but though it might be more beneficial if a group wanted to try it.

If your interested, post a reply, pm me, or email me at tmr@rbrosrifles.com.  If there is enough interest, we can put something together in the next few months.

Thanks
Travis

Am I detecting E side envy? :)

C'mon you guys are lucky enough to have 2 beautiful foxes like Gregoire and Murray living on the W side. What more do you want? :chuckle:

Its true :'(  my east side envy is deeper than the bottomless pockets that Gregoire and Murry think they have.  To add to my disgust Gregoire was raised in Auburn so all around my town there are signs that read "Proud hometown of Governor Christine Gregoire" :'( :bash: :'( :bash:

I hate living here. No neighbors, noise and nothing to do but hunt and be outdoors. It's rough.
