I was really surprised at the lack of pressure for the late buck opener. Saw only a few people all day.
Yesterday we ended up getting one in the morning and one in the evening.

Epic misreading of the game laws, and an even more epic mistake to post all about it online. . . Being an administrator of the site makes it look even worse too on all of us.

There are a few permits going on right now though that would make it possible for this to be legal....guess we will wait and see.

 We had late permits in the Capitol Peak unit. I will be posting a story and more pics later.

That could be a viable cover, maybe. . . But I don't think any of the seasons opened yesterday, on a Thursday, coincidentally the same day of the week that Late Buck always opens. . .
