Hornady Superformance

Just a heads up for anyone using the ammo.  They have a recall on I believe 30-06 currently, saw it at cabela's yesterday.  Too high of pressures I believe was the reasoning.  Don't remember what the lot # was but if you're shooting it it's worth making a phone call about.  1-800-338-1242

I was in camp with a guy shooting this in .300 ultra. Double lunged  muley at 143 yards. In and out, no expansion, deer was still breathing 1 hour later with his head up and tail just flicking away. Took three rounds total to finish the animal.

Had to be a different brand because hornady doesn't load anything in 300 ultra. Shot some 308 win in my tc and it grouped under an inch.

I bought 2 boxes of the Super performance in 30-06. It really groups nice out of my Tikka. I mean really good. I just took a buck in Montana at around 400 yds with it.  He dropped and not even twitch. Have to check their web site.

Thanks for te heads-up
