Thanks BTKR and dogtuk for posting the recipes for everyone. It was you two that inspired me to try this and I'm glad I did. Just to let everyone know it's really easy and dogtuk is right, once you try this bacon, you will never eat store bought bacon again! The large piece of pork in the photo is our home made ham for our Christmas dinner. Can't wait to try that out. Thanks again everyone for the compliments and a big thank you to Huey for the help.John
huntlakewood, I'm not sure what Candadian Bacon tastes like, but it tastes similar to regular bacon. Notice how I said "similar to" becuase I guarantee, once you eat Buckboard Bacon, you will never buy regular bacon again. Try it and enjoy. John
MY personal observation is, if it's sliced thin, it tastes like regular bacon, if sliced thick, it tastes like a cross between ham and bacon. It tastes nothing like Canadian bacon to me.
