Yep, scrub oaks,rocky, small river,klick. But its more muley than blackie.

what part of that deer is muley? small ears, has a black tail. i have hunted there for years and could count on one hand the mule deer ive seen there. scrub oaks rocky ,small river that = muley it could have some in it im not a biologist but i would say no!

Backcountry55,take one more look at those ears. Nice and wide the rack makes them look small. How many blackis have wide three point racks like that? I grew up in that country leave White Salmon head east and the racks just keep getting bigger. My uncle's live in Goldendale and have lots of nice mulie crosses to show for. My grandpa's basement is full of berdoin mt blacktail/mulie cross bucks.

The guy killed a nice buck. Leave it at that. There's always got to be one in every crowd I guess.
