anybody want to throw me a bone and let me know if it's worth a 2 hour drive and a short(i think) hike to catch some trout??

Its fine, not amazing or anything.  I'm tryng to remember if thats one of the ones that bikes come roaring up on when you are fishing.  Thats a little annoying.  Fish aren't big.  Anyday in the woods is better than nothing.  Easy hike.

I've never fished it but have been by it several times, keep thinking about fishing it. the trail to it is fairly easy.  If memory serves you can hike in from the funny rock area I think that is a shorter hike then coming from manastash/rider campground, you just got to hit some pretty mellow jeep trails to get to the trail to the lake (I have seen some stock fullsize trucks in that area.) If you come up from the campgrounds you could also fish Lost Lake as well.  Hope this helps some
