Nov 7 we got on our peddle bikes and rode in 2 miles and then we started hiking in this swamp we had been looking at and we got in there about 100 yards off the main road when we spotted the bull bedded down about 60 yards out. His head was behind a tree so we could not tell what he was, then he got up and just took 2 to 3 steps and stop giving us only a head or neck shot. BOOM one shot right in the neck and down went the bull with in the first 15 min of light. Once we got him we got the neighbor bring up the horses and loaded it up and got it out
Nov 12 we had been hunting all day and not seen anythin until about 3:30 pm and deer every where. we watched a 3x2 a little smaller than this buck for a while and passed him up and went around the corner and this buck was with his girlfriend. I ranged him at 270 yards as we shot 3 times as he just stood there and then he took over the ridge so we jumped in the truck and drove around the ridge and there he was with his girlfriend so we snuck up the ridge and ranged him at 200 yards and fired(missed) fired down he went right before shooting hours were up so we ran up the hill grabbed him and headed down hill and gutted him in the head lights of the truck!!
They were both great hunts
