Finally posting the pics of my blacktail I got on the last day of general season. He was up in the steep country and my knee still hurts from the pack out. One load by myself boned out with the head and cape 115lbs. 4x4 and 20"wide. Pic of him where he laid by his rub is pretty cool. nwhunter

Thanks guys it is by far my biggest blacktail and for a true coastal bt will be tough to beat. He was with some does and I shot him not far from that rub so drug him over for the pic, thought it was a cool pic setup. No treestand just really steep hillside. As like most trophies, just in the right spot at the right time, I could go back there ten more times and not see a deer. Good luck to you late season guys looks like the weather will be good for chasing the elusive blacktail. nwhunter
