well, me and a buddy went out this morning to a flooded field we thought might be good.....we were wrong
......... turns out the pond had been hunted pretty hard over the weekend and the few birds we did see were not coming with in 80 yards of us
so after picking up about 11:00 I decided that I had time to go jump some ditches before I had to go to work and................ on the first jump I kick up a pair of mallards and powdered them both with 2 shots
at this point I was just happy that I was able to keep my skunkless streak going for this year, until I discovered that the greenhead was banded as well
I could not believe it, I had never shot a band before this season, and now with in 3 weeks I have 2 in the bag!! dont know what I did to deserve this but lets hope it keeps on coming cuz its turning out to be an awesome season so far
