Washougal Unit
« on: November 20, 2010, 08:01:05 AM »
Good Morning fellow hunters. I was thinking about heading out tomorrow morning for one last little hunt before my season ends for late buck. has anyone had any success in this unit, particularly above dougon falls area? been up there before but it has been awhile. well not a while because me and my 4year old was up there a few weeks back on the FR road heading to stevenson, but i was thinking about taking the other road up the hill from there. I remember a few clear cuts that were up there a few years back but not sure how they are now. i figure tomorrow might be perfect with the cold air coming in and suppose to be clear in the AM hours. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Todd

Was up above Dougan Falls yesterday on the 1200 road. Saw several does, but no bucks. :dunno:
Have had good luck in the past during late buck, but no so much this year.
Did see some fresh bear tracks in the snow that belonged to a dandy. Too bad bear season was closed.
The worst day hunting is better than any day at work!
