Willipa Hills-506 unit
« on: November 21, 2010, 09:43:22 AM »
I had hunted this unit several years ago with rifle.  Looking for a place to go for late archery on first weekend of Dec.  Me and my hunting buddy are looking to head here and would like some feed back of what part of this unit may be better and we are not afraid of hiking in, anyone that would like to hook up with us is welcome also.  Always appreciate the feed back, thanks and happy hunting.

Antelerless only late arhcery and the hoof rot has taken a rather large toll on the herd in some areas. 672 fall river is the adjacent unit that is pretty good plus I believe it is 3 point or better OR antlerless, at least it was that way the past few years.

Ive hunted all these areas for a few years now, there are elk in willapa thats for sure, for mass quantity i would say Ryderwood, Fall River has a few elk, just a lot less in numbers is my opinion. Willapa and Ryderwood R good.
