It is amazing how fast coyotes get on a kill. I have seen them on gut piles in under an hour! Congrats on a nice buck, sorry you wont have a full freezer!
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

Thanks everybody for your comments.  It was good hearing that I wasn't the only one that it has happened too.  Still makes me sick that I lost the meat.  And to Butcher, nothing to say to you.
