Quinalt Ridge
« on: November 27, 2010, 10:14:31 AM »
Hiked into the heart of the Colonel Bob yesterday hoping to find a big bull all by his lonesome - no such luck though :bash:  Saw where a herd crossed the trail a few days ago heading down but that was about it. Snowing pretty good up there and of course just a touch of rain down lower.  We got just a little wet....
May that for which I prepare never come to pass.

Wanting to get into the 6064 on Mon. and Tues. but not sure if it is worth the drive. do you know if there is any land in there to hunt or is everything posted as private?

There is a tiny bit of FS and a small piece of private that will let you hunt without permission. Other than that you would be better off up on the Ridge road.

I all ways jump around in the late season, rarely spend more that a couple days in any area. I use late season as a way of seeing different parts of the west side. Guess I need to study up some more on my maps of the area and see if I can find the places you speak of.
