My dad always told me growing up if I was looking to buy a rifle 30 06 would be the best for around here.  Any hardware store that has ammo for sale will have 30 06 rounds.  Since dad always said 30 06 would be his rifle of choice I like the 7mm. :chuckle:

30-06 but if your in that range you should step up to a .300 win mag :twocents:

If you're looking at down the road cost ammo for the 06 would be cheaper. Food for thought and my  :twocents:
