I was at Kenmore last weekend and saw someone using them. I talked with the guy and he loved them. Has anybody shot them with a broadhead yet? What did you exp?
Great Job KillBilly! If I can ever be of any help, just let me know. I told Paul I would be happy to continue to spread the word as well.Going to talk him into getting on here if he can and tell us his story. It is pretty interesting. Beinga Mechanical Engineer (Now Electrical Engineer) I find it pretty cool how the whole thing came about.I am a lifer now. Need to get some more and some more arrows so I can use them for demos. Guys at work need a little more convincing that they really do work and work very well!
I do have a fall away rest and a D loop. Right now I shoot carbon express arrows with 100 grain field tips and G5 broadheads. So how much do these change the wait of your arrow? Right now I have my bow sighted in for broadheads, because now matter how well it is tuned at 60 yards my broadheads fly righ of what my field point does, so I manually moved my site to correct it. Are you saying that if the bow is sighted in properly and using FOBS it will not be necessary to adjust between field points and broadheads? Also, will these slow down the arrow flght because of wait or is the weight similar to vanes? I currently I shot 4 vanes. Are there any other modifcations necessary?
Do they pass through like viens do, or do they hang up on the hide or break or what? Obviously I couldn't or wouldn't shoot them with the trad bow, but my compound has the same issues as everyone else. I can't go back and forth from filed tips to broadheads.....
