You probably will get a story one of these days as he is still over there looking for a whitetail and a elk. He is seeing quite a few whitetails just not the right one yet and a few elk with the same scenario. Seems a little harder than we thought to find a big elk. Weather seems to be a problem a lot of the time as it is either raining even at 6000 feet or foggy. I think he is on day 46 now and yes his new bride seems to be very understanding. She knew what she was in for when they got married and especially after they landed in LA from their honeymoon and while standing in customs he got the call about the tag he had drawn. Problem was she thought she was a instant millionaire, only to find out it was a little different type of lotto tag or raffle tag. She has still been great through it all and I do wish we could all be that lucky.

That you Martin? haha I was thinking the same thing that she must be very forgiving to let him go that long.  :chuckle:

From the sound of things he might have to pick up a pair of shed and put them back on something. Sounds like they are falling off pretty fast. Last year I ran into that problem around the 25th of Dec. seems earlier this year.
