When you do get one don't forget to put your remote on a lanyard or wrist strap. I lost mine for my fx3. Foxpro says $150 for a replacement. Plus shipping of my caller both ways and no I cannot upgrade to the new style remote. Well I only paid $275 for the whole thing new so I don't see dropping another $150 for a remote. I will just wait it out until I can get the fury.As far as batteries go, I had the same problem with the cold weather. Went to duracell rechargables. Bought 8 rechargable aa's and a charger from wallmart. Out the door for less than 50 bucks. I have ran the caller for three days solid in cold weather without a problem. Takes a full day to recharge but it's worth it.
I recently purchased a W/T caller, hoping to use it for cougar, but I can't seem to find anyone who has figured out how to reprogram the card with Steve's sounds.
Heredoggy, yes foxpro said that the remotes are programmed to each individual caller.
