Well don't get too excited rose673, I am after all a Hyak alumni.  I have a lot of good memories on both the fball field and bball court down is SB, not so much in Valley though...I hate those guys :)

I'm sitting here looking at a front page sports article from the daily world back in 1999-2000 that has a giant picture of me soaring over a couple Willipa guys in a bball game.  The article is appropriately titled A Hyak High on the Willipa.  They may have got the best of us over the course of history...but not that night... :chuckle:

Coastal... If you were playing back in 99 & 00 I'm glad you brought up bball because I can vividly recall what you were like on the gridiron and it wasn't pretty  :P  You sure you weren't drinking fire water last night looking at that article because valley was pretty stacked as well!  :o   You don't happen to work for the tribe these days do ya coastal?

I do work for the tribes these days...and yes we got pounded on the gridiron, but so did most everyone else that the vikes played in that era.  We had some awsome battles in bball though, most games were decided in the final minute, if not OT...they always got the best of us in districts though.  That was the early C. Bannish era.

I Did not know Marty Waltman...is he from my area?
