Late archery elk season success
« on: December 09, 2010, 10:34:42 PM »
3 evenings in a tree stand, very cold weather (5 to 18 deg's) produced this very nice cow. A 25 yd shot, she only went 50 yds before tipping over.  Very easy blood trail to follow.

Nicely done on filling your elk tag "bullelk". I-I-I-I- mean  "cowelk"   :chuckle:  :chuckle: Meat in the freezer and on the barby. :cue:

Hunting late season in a tree stand is not very much fun but it is effective.
Wait to stick it out. Nice big cow there!
